12-Year-Old Girl Rescued After Suspected Kidnapping in Klang

13 OCTOBER: A 12-year-old girl from Klang, reported missing after leaving her home in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, was found safe following a suspected abduction.

On October 8, local authorities launched a search and traced her whereabouts through CCTV footage, which revealed that the girl had entered a vehicle, a Perodua Myvi.

The police swiftly acted, leading to the arrest of six individuals aged between 13 and 23. The arrests were made across multiple locations, including Segambut and Setia Alam. One of the suspects had a criminal history, raising further concerns about the nature of the incident.

Initial findings indicated that the girl knew one of her abductors, suggesting a possible link between the victim and the suspects.Authorities have classified the case under Section 363 of the Penal Code for abduction. While the child has been safely returned, investigations are still ongoing to determine the full extent of the kidnapping plot.
