Agenda of many leftist groups spreading false narratives on deity worship in Hinduism
By Arthi Agarwal
What is the significance of Deity worship in Hinduism? What do the Hindu scriptures say about deity worship? What is the purpose of deity worship?
Many leftist groups have been spreading false narratives on deity worship in Hinduism. Their sole agenda is to attack Hinduism and sow doubts in the minds of Hindus who do daily puja and deity worship.
As per Isha Vasya Upanishad, in Hinduism, the context of worship is “Sohamasmi” – even when praying, I am He. Verse 16
As per Kamika Agama, there are two types of worship – Atmartha puja and Parartha puja – personal worship in your home and worship in the temple. (chapter 1, verses 22-25)
The Kamika agama describes all the details of how a deity should be installed and worshipped. (Chapter 32, verse 82-84)
Hindus should reclaim their lifestyle and not allow any leftist agents to sow doubts in their minds about their daily practices!
