Ahmad Zahid Congratulates Malaysian Athletes for Success in France

8th September 2024 – Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi extended his congratulations to Malaysian athletes for their outstanding performances in international competitions.
Datuk Abdul Latif Romly won a silver medal in the men’s long jump T20 event at the 2024 Paralympic Games held in Paris with an impressive jump of 7.45 meters. Additionally, Zahid praised young Malaysian archers Abdurrahman Ahmad Mu’az and his sister Heba Nusaybah, who secured gold and silver medals in the European Kids Championship in horseback archery, held in France.
Their remarkable achievements bring great pride to Malaysia. Zahid acknowledged the athletes’ hard work and dedication, emphasizing their role in inspiring the younger generation to pursue excellence in sports.
