Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Chiyaan Vikram Shine at SIIMA 2024 with Top Honors

Star-studded proceedings took place at the annual South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024, where Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Chiyaan Vikram, who starred in the historical epic Ponniyin Selvan, took home top accolades.
For his depiction of Aditha Karikalan, which demonstrated his versatility, commanding screen presence, and dedication to the profession, Chiyaan Vikram won the Best Actor award. Ponniyin Selvan, whom Vikram played, won praise for portraying the character’s range of emotions, including love, betrayal, and vengeance.
Along with making waves, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan won the Best Actress prize for playing two different parts, Mandakini Devi and Nandini. Aishwarya is one of the year’s most remarkable actors because her part in the movie gave her the opportunity to explore a wide variety of emotions, from regal grace to boiling fury.
