Amirudin Shari Urges Celebration of Unity in a Multicultural Nation

31st August 2024 – Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, highlighted the importance of unity in a multicultural society during the “Titik Perpaduan” program in Hulu Langat.

He emphasized that unity is crucial for the progress and stability of Malaysia, a nation rich in cultural diversity. Amirudin noted that harmony among the various races in the country is not just a tradition but a legacy that must be preserved and strengthened.

He urged the public to embrace this diversity, recognizing that the differences in culture, religion, and ethnicity should be seen as assets that contribute to the nation’s strength.Amirudin also acknowledged the efforts of previous generations in fostering unity and understanding among the various communities. He stressed the importance of continuing this legacy by promoting mutual respect and cooperation among all Malaysians.

The program, which included various cultural performances, aimed to enhance the spirit of unity and togetherness among the participants.

Amirudin concluded by encouraging everyone to work together to build a better future for the country, ensuring that Malaysia remains a peaceful and prosperous nation where all citizens, regardless of their background, can thrive in harmony, as stated in Sinar Harian.
