Kuala Lumpur, May 22: The old Employees Provident Fund (EPF) building located at Jalan Gasing here was set on fire today.
This would be the iconic building’s second fire in the last five years. The first fire accident occurred in February 2018, and since then it has been vacant.

The building was set to reopen as a revolutionary senior living complex in the latter half of 2024.
No casualties were recorded, according to a brief statement from the fire and rescue department.
The cause of the fire is yet unknown as stated in FMT.
