7th September 2024 – An eight-month-old baby boy tragically passed away at a nursery in Taman Kelemak Utama, Alor Gajah.
The police detained a 34-year-old nursery operator to assist with investigations. The baby’s mother and grandfather had dropped him off at the nursery that morning. Later, the mother received a call that her baby had turned blue and was bleeding.
The baby was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead. Investigations revealed that the nursery had been operating without a license for four years, deeply upsetting the parents, who had waited 13 years to have a child, as stated in Bernama
