8 SEPTEMBER: People at Terminal 1 were left stunned when a car suddenly plunged from the first floor of a parking lot and landed on another vehicle below, around noon today.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:30 PM when a Honda City, which was parked on the first floor, reportedly plummeted down. A bus passenger who wished to remain anonymous said he was at the scene and heard a loud crash before turning to see an overturned car on the road.

Several bystanders rushed to the car, discovering a man in his 20s in the driver’s seat, with visible head injuries. “I’m unsure of the severity of his Injuries, but I saw blood on his head. The other car, a Proton Saga, was unoccupied as it was parked,” he said when interviewed by Harian Metro.

The witness added that a railing near the parking area had also fallen after being struck by the Honda City. The driver was taken to the hospital by concerned citizens, and although visibly injured, he was still able to walk.

Meanwhile, Seremban District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohamad Hatta Che Din, confirmed the incident, stating that a report has been filed. The Proton Saga sustained damage to its front, though only externally as stated in BULETIN TV3.
