Catches Fire After Hitting Rock in Seremban, Driver Escapes with Minor Injuries

20th September 2024 : A Proton Saga FLX was completely destroyed after colliding with a large rock that had fallen on the road earlier this morning.
The Negeri Sembilan Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Operations Centre confirmed in a statement that the driver, an Indian woman, sustained minor injuries in the incident.
According to the statement, the rock had fallen from a trailer lorry, causing the accident. The incident occurred on Jalan Mambau, Seremban 2, Negeri Sembilan.
The JBPM received an emergency call at 7:28 a.m., and immediately dispatched 12 firefighters from the Seremban 2 Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found the car completely engulfed in flames, but they managed to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, the driver was able to escape with only minor injuries and received medical attention on-site.
Authorities are currently investigating the incident and working to ensure that any hazards posed by the fallen debris are addressed to prevent future accidents.
