Celebrating One Year of Vijay’s ‘Leo’: Lokesh Kanagaraj Opens Up About Its Emotional Significance

Thalapathy Vijay’s blockbuster film Leo has officially marked one year since its release. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action-packed film became an instant hit at the box office and, even a year later, the excitement surrounding Leo remains strong. To celebrate the film’s first anniversary, Lokesh Kanagaraj took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a heartfelt unseen picture with Thalapathy Vijay, along with a special message.

Love you so much @actorvijay na for making it happen.” He also extended his gratitude to the audience for their unwavering support and gave thanks to everyone who contributed to the making of Leo. The picture shared seems to be from the film’s set, showing Vijay and Lokesh in an engaging, heartfelt conversation.

Once Lokesh shared the post, fans flooded social media with messages of appreciation, thanking him for delivering such a memorable blockbuster the previous year. Many netizens also voiced their hopes for a potential sequel, eagerly expressing their desire to see the actor-director duo reunite on screen.

Soon after, Antony Das (played by Sanjay Dutt) and Harold Das (Arjun Sarja) begin to suspect that Parthiban might actually be their long-lost relative, Leo Das. The rest of the film delves into the mystery of Parthiban’s true identity and his connection to Leo Das.
