30th August 2024 – Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) has clarified that a widely circulated photo showing a sinkhole at Jalan Dewan Bahasa in Kampung Attap is outdated.
The image, which recently went viral, caused public concern, but DBKL confirmed that the damage depicted in the photo has already been repaired. They urged the public to avoid sharing unverified information that could lead to unnecessary panic.
The clarification comes after recent sinkholes in different parts of Kuala Lumpur, including Jalan Masjid India, which tragically claimed a life, as stated in Malaymail.
