Elderly Woman Dies in Truck Accident Driven by Son

26th September 2024: An accident on Jalan Sungkai, Kampung Air Hitam, Teluk Intan, claimed the life of an elderly woman, Yap Soh Choo, 74, after her son’s truck collided with a sand truck.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when Yap’s son, 43, sustained minor injuries. Firefighters arrived shortly after the accident, around 4:02 PM, and worked to extricate the victims.
Unfortunately, Yap was declared dead at the scene. The rescue operation concluded at 4:46 PM, with Yap’s remains handed over to the police for further action, as stated in Sinar Harian.
