Elderly Woman Fatally Struck by Motorcycle in Tumpat

9th September 2024 – An elderly woman, aged 72, tragically lost her life after being struck by a motorcycle while crossing the road in Kampung Berangan, Tumpat.
The incident occurred around 7:30 AM, with the woman reportedly crossing suddenly, leaving the 18-year-old motorcyclist unable to avoid her. The motorcyclist was en route from Wakaf Bharu to Tumpat.
The victim was immediately taken to Hospital Tumpat, where she was pronounced dead. The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act, as stated in Buletin TV3.
