Federal and State Governments Collaborate with Felda on Native Land Rights in Tambisan

13th September 2024 – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim announced that the federal government, Sabah state, and Felda would work together to return native customary rights (NCR) land in Tambisan to its rightful owners.
Sabah Chief Minister Hajiji Noor informed Anwar of the long-standing appeal from local residents, involving about 400 acres of land.
Anwar emphasized the importance of resolving the matter quickly, aiming for the issue to be settled within months.
Additionally, Anwar approved the establishment of a dialysis center in Felda Sahabat to meet local healthcare needs, as stated in Malaymail.
