Five Injured as Express Bus Skids into Ditch

22 SEPTEMBER: In the early hours near Yong Peng on the North-South Highway, an express bus carrying 11 passengers skidded off the road and landed in a ditch.
The accident, which occurred at 3:56 a.m., left five people injured, including the driver. Firefighters arrived promptly and used specialized equipment to break the windshield and free the trapped passengers.
According to Operation Commander Muhammad Farhan Ahmad, three of the injured victims were taken to Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital. The rescue involved 14 firemen and concluded by 5:18 a.m as stated in Buletin TV3.
