4th January 2025: At just four years old, Jeimithra Vasagam has achieved a remarkable feat by identifying all 118 elements of the periodic table in a record-breaking time of 1 minute and 35 seconds.
This accomplishment has earned her recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records, India Book of Records, Asia Book of Records, and Worldwide Book of RecordsPreviously, Jeimithra identified 197 national flags in 2 minutes and 25 seconds. Seeking a new challenge, she turned her attention to the periodic table, mastering all elements and their symbols in just six weeks.
Her mother, Dr. Mathi, noted that Jeimithra dedicated 5 to 10 minutes daily, usually before bedtime, to this task, integrating learning seamlessly into her routine.Dr. Mathi emphasized the importance of a balanced schedule, ensuring time for study, play, meals, and piano practice. She believes that learning with joy is crucial and that a structured yet supportive environment allows children to discover their potential.
Jeimithra is now exploring chess, inspired by champions like Gukesh, Vaishali, and Praggnanandhaa.
