Hero’s Welcome for Malaysian Shuttlers

Kuala Lumpur, 8th August 2024 – Malaysia’s Thomas and Uber Cup teams received a warm
welcome from around 200 family members and supporters at Kuala Lumpur International
Airport (KLIA).
This event marked the end of their journey in the Thomas Cup, where
Malaysia reached the final for the first time since 2002. Despite a strong effort, they lost 3-2
to Japan.
