Hindu Voice Association Willing to Work for Solutions Against Temple Demolision
PRESS STATEMENT
United Malaysian Hindu Voice (UMHV) urges the government to stop temple demolitions in Malaysia.
The government should prepare an ecosystem to safeguard the rights of the Malaysian Hindu community. Temples in Malaysia are not only important for the Hindus but also a part of the nation’s history and culture.
The Hindus, who have been in Malaysia for decades, have played a major role in developing the nation. Demolition of the temple also contradicts the nation’s constitution as Malaysia practices freedom of practice of religion.
UMHV is prepared to work together with the government to bring a permanent solution for the issues faced by Hindu temples in the country.
