INFLUENCER ACCUSED IN THE LATE ESHA’S CYBERBULLYING CASE ACTED GUILTY & FINED RM100.

KUALA LUMPUR 16 JULY : Today, The Kuala Lumpur Magistrate’s Court, the influencer who was taken into custody in connection with the cyberbullying incident that led to content creator Rajeswary Appahu’s suicide entered a guilty plead to the charge of using derogatory language to stir up frustration.
Shalini, who was in the presence of two people who were probably her husband and father, seemed peaceful when the charge was read in front of Sessions Court Judge Arunjothy M Selvaraju as stated in World Of Buzz.
Shalini, an old folks home cleaner, immediately accepted her crime and expressed her regret for the occurrence after the accusation was read out. Later, the judge assessed a fine of RM100, or seven days in jail if it was not paid as stated in Free Malaysia Today (FMT).
The 44-year-old truck driver pleaded a guilty plea to the accusation of using the account “@dulal_brothers_360” to post pornographic statements on TikTok. Additionally, the defendant was charged with a second offense under Section 509 of the Penal Code for publishing obscene remarks with the intention of insulting P R Puspa, the victim’s mother, for her modesty. According to the section, there might be a maximum RM50,000 fine, a maximum one-year jail punishment, or both.
