Inspiring Leadership: Nurhidayah Johari’s Journey

27 SEPTEMBER: Nurhidayah Johari, a final-year Counseling student at Universiti Malaya, exemplifies resilience as a student with disabilities (OKU). Despite undergoing multiple surgeries, her determination to contribute to society shines through her academic success and leadership roles. As the President of the UM Disabled Students’ Association, Nurhidayah has actively advocated for mental health awareness and OKU empowerment.
She believes that disabilities should not limit one’s potential, and her participation in forums and conferences has shaped her into a capable leader. With aspirations of becoming a psychologist, Nurhidayah continues to inspire others with her positive outlook as stated in Buletin TV3.
