Interstate travel: ‘Just wait for few more weeks’ – PM
KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob has revealed that interstate travel will be allowed soon.
“Insyallah, be patient. Just wait for a few more weeks and I believe 90% can be achieved for interstate travel to be allowed,” Ismail Sabri was quoted as saying Bernama.
According to Ismail Sabri, as of last Wednesday, 81 per cent of the adults in the country have been vaccinated.
“If it hit 81 percent last Wednesday, it indicates we’ll be able to cross the state soon.
“So we can return to the village and visit our folks. I recognise that some people have not seen their parents in a year,” he was further quoted as saying by Bernama.
