Japan Airlines plane ignited during a possible clash with a Coast Guard aircraft

Kuala Lumpur, January 2, 2024: Japan Airlines declared that all 379 passengers and crew had safely moved out when the aircraft caught fire at Tokyo’s Haneda airport today following a potential collision with a Coast Guard plane, as stated by Free Malaysia Today.
The flight burst into flames as it slid along the tarmac, defying the rescue personnel’ frantic attempts to put out the fire, according to live footage by national broadcaster NHK.
The Coast Guard reported that it was looking into the possibility that the passenger plane and one of their aircraft crashed- Free Malaysia Today
Public channel NHK claimed that one of the six crewmembers on the coast guard aircraft fled, leaving five of them missing.
According to a Japan Airlines representative, the flight had already taken off from Hokkaido’s Shin-Chitose airport in the north.
