Kaviarasi Sanggar wins the International Silambam Korvai Tournament

Kuala Lumpur, February 22: Kaviarasi Sanggar has brought honour to Malaysia with a historic victory in the recent International Silambam Korvai Competition 2023, that took place in Chennai, India, on the 18th and 19th of February 2023- Astro Ulagam
The Malaysia Book Record-holding teacher, silambam coach, and native Malaysian won one gold medal, two silver medals, and a reputable prize at the international scale.
As stated in her Instagram, Malaysia won this competition’s overall title by winning 14 gold medals, 12 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals.
Kavi is on track to achieve great success in the 17 years she has been practising the South Indian martial art of stick fighting known as Silambam.
She expressed gratitude to her masters, Anba and Jothi, for their years of strict physical training, which helped her develop self-assurance and discipline.
