KK Super Mart Honored with ‘The Great Asia Outstanding Corporation Award’

23rd October: KK Super Mart has once again achieved remarkable success by receiving the prestigious ‘The Great Asia Outstanding Corporation Award’ at the Asia Economic & Entrepreneurship Summit, held at Royale Chulan, Kuala Lumpur.
This recognition highlights KK Super Mart’s significant achievements in positioning its local brand at the forefront of the retail industry, not only in Malaysia but also on a regional and international scale.
Founder and Chairman of KK Super Mart, Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai, expressed that the award is not merely an individual accomplishment but a reflection of the entire team’s hard work and dedication. He emphasized the collective effort that has driven the company forward.
“Our success is a testament to the uniqueness of Malaysia, which thrives on its multiculturalism and diversity of races, cultures, and religions. This diversity has played a major role in creating opportunities for entrepreneurs like myself to grow,” Chai remarked.
The award was presented by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof. The ceremony also saw the presence of Penang’s Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Ahmad Fuzi Abdul Razak.
Chai expressed his gratitude to both Fadillah and Ahmad Fuzi for their support and for recognizing the importance of the event. He noted that such acknowledgments strengthen the bond between the business sector and the government, working together to further Malaysia’s development.
Since its establishment in 2001, KK Super Mart has grown from a small retail store to become a well-known 24-hour convenience store chain, with nearly 900 outlets across urban and rural areas, shopping malls, universities, airports, and more as stated in Kosmo Online.
