Kok Urges PM to Relocate Madani Suria Project

1st September 2024 – Former minister Teresa Kok has urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim to consider relocating the Madani Suria project from Kuala Lumpur to other states that would benefit more from development.
She argued that Kuala Lumpur already has enough affordable housing projects, and such developments could be more impactful in other regions.
Kok emphasized that spreading development to other areas aligns with the government’s goals of reducing urban congestion and promoting balanced growth nationwide, as stated in Free Malaysia Today.
