LRT COLLISION NEAR KLCC

KUALA LUMPUR, 24TH MAY 2021; A terrible LRT collided at an underground section near the KLCC station and Kampung Baru tonight. Along with LRT Kelana Jaya, another LRT got into this incident too. Prasarana’s Senior manager (Communications and Media Affairs) Azhar Ghazali, said that the LRT service involving trains numbered 40 and 81 was involved in an incident at about 9 PM. He also apologized for all the inconvenience that just happened a few hours ago. “ Our team is managing relief and rescue work right now. Please remain calm and follow all instructions”, he said.

In a tweet on AskRapidKL’S Twitter, it was informed that all the injured passengers had been taken out from the train and brought to the hospital for immediate treatment. Based on the photos and videos which circulated around the social media, one can clearly see that some of them were covering the serious injuries on their body parts which were bleeding heavily.
