Malays to Continue to Rule The Nation while Non-Muslims to be Grateful to have a Place Here! – Says Hadi

Kuala Lumpur, June 8 : In a recent address, PAS President Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang advocated for non-Muslims to relinquish political control and allow the majority ethnic group to maintain leadership in the country.
He emphasized that non-Muslims should appreciate the opportunity they have received through the jus soli citizenship policy, highlighting that such a privilege might not be readily available elsewhere.
The PAS President emphasized the contrasting approach of most countries towards non-natives who don’t share the nation’s ideology. He called for understanding and acceptance of the fair rights granted by Islam to non-Muslim residents. He stressed the importance of respecting the established position of Islam within the Malay community and the displayed tolerance towards them.
He also highlighted the opportunities provided to non-Muslims in sectors unrelated to the Muslim faith, such as the Cabinet, state executive council, and government departments, as a gesture of accommodation. He also strongly disagreed with Anwar’s belief that a government’s stability relies on policies rather than ethnic composition and asserted that many Malays support his administration.
The article contained unverified and discredited allegations against DAP, as Hadi cautioned ethnic Chinese and Indians about being deceived by the Pakatan Harapan component.
In contrast, Anwar maintains his confidence and asserts that many Malays support his administration, emphasizing their focus on effective policies rather than the racial composition of the government.
