Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim Welcomes Tatarstan President for Bilateral Talks

Kuala Lumpur, 14th August – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim recently met with the President of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, in Putrajaya to strengthen bilateral relations.
The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation in trade, investment, and education between Malaysia and the Republic of Tatarstan, a federal subject of Russia.
Both leaders expressed their commitment to deepening ties and exploring new avenues for mutual benefit.
The meeting signifies a step forward in fostering closer relations between the two regions, with potential collaborations in various sectors being a key focus of the talks, as stated in the New Straits Times.
