Man Found Dead After Being Stabbed 20 Times in Bandar Sri Damansara

17 SEPTEMBER: A 36-year-old interior decorator was found dead at his apartment in Persiaran Meranti, Bandar Sri Damansara, after being stabbed around 20 times during a suspected altercation on Sunday night (Sept 15).

According to Petaling Jaya District Police chief ACP Shahrulnizam Ja’afar, a concerned neighbor reported the incident after hearing an argument and noticing that the victim had not left his apartment since. Police were dispatched to the scene and discovered the body with multiple stab wounds.

The victim, who lived alone in the apartment he purchased last year, is believed to have had personal belongings, including his wallet and mobile phone, stolen.

The body has been sent to Sungai Buloh Hospital for a post-mortem examination, and authorities have classified the case as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code.

Police are urging anyone with relevant information to contact the Petaling Jaya District Police Headquarters at 03-7966 2222 as investigations continue.

The incident has shocked the local community, and authorities are working to track down the unknown assailant as stated in The Star.
