Minister Urges Focus on Athletes’ Performance, Not Attire

Kuala Lumpur, 15th August – Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh has called on Malaysians to stop commenting on athletes’ attire and instead focus on their performance.
This follows the spread of explicit, edited images of national diver Nur Dhabitah Sabri online. Yeoh emphasized that athletes are dedicated to their sports, not their clothing choices, and urged the public to respect their commitment and achievements.
The minister’s remarks highlight the importance of prioritizing athletic accomplishments over personal opinions about appearance, as stated in Malaysia Kini.
