KUALA LUMPUR, March 21st: A Hi-Tea Session was organized today by United Malaysian Hindu Voice together with a few other Hindu NGOs and Temples. In this gathering, more than 100 Hindu NGOs and Temples participated and discussed three key topics that are trending nationwide recently.
The topics covered are:
1. Dravidic Ideology in Tamil Schools
2. Ponggal and Tamil New Year Confusion
3. Establishing Dynamic Hindu Leadership
All three topics were addressed and discussed openly among all the participants and it was briefed by the relevant Subject Matter Experts and was opened for discussion after the briefing. The discussion session picked-up proactively and concluded well productively.

Towards the end of the session, Naraesh Pillai Ravindran, who moderated the session read aloud all the three resolutions for the attendees to acknowledge and approve. The resolution concluded at the end of the session are:
- The Ministry of Education must take immediate action towards the unauthorized Dravidic books n libraries in Tamil Schools. We, Hindu organizations and temples strongly condemn the influence of Dravidic ideology (Atheism) in Tamil Schools.
- Ponggal is a Hindu religious festival and it should be celebrated with religious values.
- We, Hindu Organisations and temples in Malaysia declare Chittirai 1st as the Tamil New Year
All these three resolutions were acknowledged, agreed and fully supported by all the attending organization representatives, temple leads, and community leaders who attended the event.



The spokesperson of United Malaysian Hindu Voice, Rubaadarshini Rajasekaran when contacted mentioned that this gathering was a major success as expected. She added gatherings like this will be organized more often in the future to create awareness among Hindu Leaders, Temples, in order to build a better Hindu community.
