Kuala Lumpur, 16 November 2024 – In a significant move towards addressing unemployment and skill development among Malaysian Indian IT graduates, United Malaysian Hindu Voice (UMHV) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Intellize Tech Services Sdn. Bhd. at the Deepavali Open House 2024 event.

This collaboration marks the launch of the “Train & Place Cybersecurity Professional Certification Program”, aimed at equipping over 200 unemployed Malaysian Indian IT graduates with high-value EC-Council certifications. Each graduate will receive comprehensive technical training and soft skills development, paving the way for rewarding careers in the growing field of cybersecurity.

The program highlights the commitment of UMHV to foster education and employability within the community. The MoU was signed by Dr. Kavitha Muthy, Chief Strategy Officer of Intellize Tech Services, and representatives of UMHV, witnessed by key stakeholders and event attendees.

Speaking at the event, Mr Karthikeyian Rajasegaan, the Head of the Finance Department of United Malaysian Hindu Voice described the initiative as a groundbreaking collaboration. “This is a commendable step forward in addressing critical gaps in skills and employability. On behalf of UMHV, I extend my heartfelt thanks and congratulations to both parties for spearheading such an impactful program,” he said, while encouraging similar future initiatives.

The signing ceremony was part of the larger Deepavali Open House 2024 event, which celebrated unity and joy, bringing together various community members and leaders.
