Muhyiddin to Provide Statement on 3R Issue

Kuala Lumpur, 19th August – Former Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin is scheduled to provide a statement to the police on Tuesday, August 20, regarding a sensitive 3R (Race, Religion, Royalty) issue. The investigation follows comments he made that allegedly touched on these sensitive topics.
According to sources, the police will record Muhyiddin’s statement at the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters. This development is part of an ongoing investigation into remarks made by various political figures, with authorities emphasizing the importance of maintaining national harmony and avoiding inflammatory statements.
The police have reiterated their commitment to impartiality and thoroughness in handling cases involving 3R issues, as such matters are deemed highly sensitive in Malaysia’s multicultural society.
Muhyiddin, who is also the President of Bersatu, has previously denied any wrongdoing and maintains that his statements were taken out of context. The upcoming session with the police is expected to provide clarity on the issue.
