National Day 2024: A Call for Unity, Says PM Anwar

31st August 2024 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has urged Malaysians to use the upcoming National Day 2024 celebrations as an opportunity to strengthen unity across the nation.
Addressing over 7,000 attendees, including civil servants, educators, and representatives from various organizations, Anwar emphasized that the independence enjoyed today was the result of unity among diverse communities.
He highlighted the need for every citizen to be protected, loved, and defended, warning against the divisive politics that can exploit racial sentiments.
Anwar’s speech underscored the importance of maintaining national solidarity despite differing opinions, as stated in Bernama.
