National sprinter Shereen won the NCAA Division II Championship.

Kuala Lumpur, March 16: Shereen Samson Vallabouy, a national sprinter, broke the 400-meter indoor record once more after covering the race in 52.27 seconds at the Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships in Virginia, USA- Astro Ulagam
Rabia Abdul Salam’s 1993 national outdoor record of 52.56 seconds was surpassed by Shereen’s most recent indoor record performance of 52.27 seconds.
The American athlete who is setting records in her field highlights how exceptional her performance has been and suggests that she could be able to break more records in the future.
Her mother nurtured Shereen’s early interest in track and field and assisted in its development. Her decision to attend the Bukit Jalil Sports Academy to study and train with the national team is a testament to how devoted and driven she is to pursue her love of the sport- Astro Ulagam
