New Scheme for Indian Entrepreneurs to Be Announced Soon

22nd September 2024: A new initiative aimed at supporting Indian entrepreneurs in Malaysia will be unveiled soon, according to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.
He made this announcement at the Malaysian Indian Community Transformation Unit (MITRA) event, where he emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering the Indian community through various programs and opportunities.
Anwar mentioned that the forthcoming scheme would provide targeted assistance to Indian entrepreneurs, especially those facing financial challenges, with the aim of helping them grow their businesses and contributing to the national economy.
He also highlighted that this initiative is part of the government’s broader agenda to promote inclusivity and uplift underrepresented communities.The Prime Minister stressed that the government is taking concrete steps to ensure that the Indian community receives the necessary support for economic advancement.
MITRA is expected to play a central role in rolling out this new scheme, alongside other government agencies focused on entrepreneurship and community development.While the specifics of the scheme were not revealed, Anwar assured that it would address the needs of Indian entrepreneurs and create more opportunities for them in various sectors.
