On this date, “Golden Sparrow” from Dhanush’s Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam will be released.

Actor-director Dhanush has turned his attention to the young romantic comedy Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam (NEEK), his third directorial endeavour, following the success of his 50th film Raayan.

The first track from the movie, “Golden Sparrow,” was revealed a few days ago by the producers along with an announcement poster. Actor Priyanka Mohan will make a brief guest appearance in the song.

Golden Sparrow is scheduled to release on August 30th, according per the latest statement.

Pavish, Anikha Surendran, Priya Prakash Varrier, Venkatesh Menon, Matthew Thomas, Rabiya Khatoon, and Ramya Ranganathan all play important roles in the movie.

Cinematographer Leon Britto has been tapped for NEEK, while GK Prasanna will take care of the editing. GV Prakash Kumar is the composer of Dhanush’s Aadukalam, Asuran, Polladhavan, Vaathi, and Captain Miller.

Raayan, his 50th picture as an actor and second as a director, was the last movie in which Dhanush was spotted. After its theatrical debut on July 26, the movie received a mixed to positive reception.
