Paris Paralympics, a 17-year-old Indian armless archer stunned the globe with a record-breaking bullseye.

3rd September: Sheetal Devi, an Indian national para-archer, has garnered international attention for her astounding abilities during the Paris Paralympics.Using her right leg, shoulder, and jaw to draw and release the bowstring, the 17-year-old demonstrated her unconventional shooting style while competing in the Women’s Individual Compound Open Archery event.
Sheetal’s perfect bullseye drew raucous acclaim in a widely circulated video on X, confirming her spot in the competition with a perfect score of 10.In the Women’s Individual Compound Archery Qualifying, she set a new world record with an astounding 703 out of 720 points, smashing the previous record of 698.
Even though Sheetal lost to Zuniga Mariana of Chile by a mere point, 137–138, her performance captured the attention of viewers across the globe.A rising star, Sheetal won two gold and one silver medal in the Asian Para Games in Hangzhou earlier in the year.Internet users were obviously amazed by her.
