Parking Dispute Leads to Knife Attack

6th September 2024 – A disagreement over parking escalated into violence when a man was attacked with a knife in Kelantan. The incident occurred after the victim parked his car in front of another vehicle, blocking its path. The owner of the blocked vehicle confronted the victim, leading to a heated argument.
Kelantan police reported that during the argument, the suspect grabbed a knife and attacked the victim, causing injuries. Bystanders quickly intervened to stop the fight and called the police. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, and his condition is reported to be stable.
Police have arrested the suspect and are conducting further investigations to determine the exact cause of the dispute. Authorities urge the public to avoid letting minor conflicts escalate into violence and to resolve issues calmly and respectfully. The case is being investigated under the Penal Code for causing harm with a weapon, as stated in Berita Harian.
