PAS’ Hollow Membership Offer to Non-Muslims

24th September 2024: PAS has extended membership offers to non-Muslims, aiming to present a more inclusive image. However, this gesture seems insincere given the party’s long-standing conservative and divisive policies that primarily focus on Islamic ideals.
Non-Muslims are skeptical of PAS’ true intentions, fearing they may be used as political tools rather than being genuinely integrated into the party.
Past actions, including promoting policies like hudud, further erode trust in PAS’ inclusivity, leaving many unconvinced that this offer is meaningful or beneficial, as stated in Free Malaysia Today.
