Perak PAS Criticizes Home Minister Saifuddin’s Conduct

18th September 2024 – Perak PAS commissioner Razman Zakaria has criticized Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, accusing him of acting like a “cybertrooper” rather than a government official.
Razman took issue with Saifuddin’s recent statement regarding PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang’s speech during the party’s 70th Muktamar. Saifuddin’s use of the national coat of arms in a media statement to comment on the assembly and Hadi’s speech was described as inappropriate by Razman.
He questioned if the home minister was confusing his role with that of a party spokesperson. Razman claimed that Saifuddin’s focus should be on addressing national security matters rather than attacking PAS. He urged Saifuddin to act in a manner befitting his ministerial role, emphasizing that his recent actions appeared partisan and unprofessional.
