Persistent Wet Weather Expected as Squall Line Hits Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur, 14th August 2024 – Malaysia is set to experience ongoing wet weather due to a squall line, a line of thunderstorms that brings heavy rain and strong winds.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) warns that this weather pattern will continue to impact various regions, particularly in the western and central parts of the country.
Residents are advised to stay alert and take necessary precautions against potential flooding and other hazards associated with the squall line, as stated in the Star.
