Speaking on the importance of press freedom, Anwar stated that the media plays a crucial role in maintaining transparency and accountability within government institutions, including the police force.
Anwar’s comments came in response to recent incidents where journalists were reportedly barred from covering police events. He expressed concern that such actions could undermine the public’s trust in law enforcement and hinder the media’s ability to report on matters of public interest.
