PM Anwar Advocates Lower Toll Rates with Controlled Highway Development Costs

8th September 2024 – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized that toll rates can be reduced if highway development costs are efficiently managed, free from corruption, and streamlined in the approval process.
He pointed out that current fees have inflated due to delays and unnecessary expenses, urging the Works Ministry and the Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) to ensure that future projects prioritize the people.
