PM Anwar to Attend Eastern Economic Forum, Plans Meeting with Putin

3rd September 2024 – Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to participate in the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, from September 3-6, 2024.
During the event, Anwar plans to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss economic cooperation, reinforcing Malaysia’s independent stance on global issues.
The EEF, hosted at the Far Eastern Federal University campus, will serve as a platform for leaders to explore economic ties and strengthen partnerships. The forum is supported by Sputnik as its general information partner, as stated in Malaymail.
