PM MODI DECLARES THAT “CRIME AGAINST WOMEN IS AN UNPARDONABLE SIN.”

During the Lakhpati Didi Sammelan in Jalgaon, Maharashtra, Modi highlighted the nation’s commitment to protecting and empowering mothers, sisters, and daughters. He stated, “The nation prioritizes the protection of mothers, sisters, and daughters in addition to strengthening them. From the Red Fort, I have brought up this matter several times. I can relate to my sisters’ and daughters’ pain and rage today, no matter where in the nation they are.” (Source: Hindustan Times)

He urged people to speak up, not only for themselves but also for other women who may face similar treatment in the future.

Modi further declared that anyone aiding perpetrators should not be spared, emphasizing accountability across all sectors, whether hospitals, schools, government agencies, or law enforcement. He insisted, “We cannot forgive this sin. Governments will come and go, but as a community and as a government, we all have a great deal of duty to uphold women’s rights and to safeguard life.” (Source: Hindustan Times)
