6th September 2024 – Police shot and killed an African man believed to be the mastermind behind a robbery syndicate linked to the suspect in the recent Bandar Kinrara case. Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, stated that the suspect was shot after he resisted arrest and attacked the officers during a raid. The police received a tip-off and tracked him to a house in the area.

The 37-year-old man, who had a criminal history, was found to be involved in several robbery cases. During the raid, he attempted to flee, but police pursued and shot him when he attacked with a weapon. The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene, and authorities seized items believed to have been stolen, including cash and valuables.

This case follows another incident involving a suspect linked to the same syndicate. The police are continuing their investigation and will step up efforts to dismantle the group, which is responsible for a series of robberies in the Klang Valley region, as stated in Berita Harian.
