Police Tracking Foreign Woman Who Allegedly Took Child from Husband

By Subaashinee Kupusamy,

17 SEPTEMBER: Police are actively searching for a foreign woman suspected of taking her 16-month-old daughter from her husband. Subang Jaya District Police Chief, ACP Wan Azlan Wan Mamat, revealed that authorities became aware of a viral social media post that included the child’s photo and identification, claiming that she had been abducted.

According to Wan Azlan, a police report was filed by the woman’s husband at 4:23 p.m. yesterday, detailing the incident. Initial investigations indicate that the man, the father of the child, lodged the report after his wife, a foreign national, allegedly took their daughter without his consent.

Further investigation confirmed that the couple is still legally married.

In his statement, Wan Azlan urged the public not to speculate or spread unverified information that could cause unnecessary alarm. He emphasized the importance of refraining from sharing any uncertain details regarding the incident, as this could create unwarranted panic within the community.

The police are continuing their efforts to locate the woman and child, and the investigation remains ongoing as stated in Buletin TV3.
