KUALA LUMPUR: A press conference organized by the Global Human Rights Federation (GHRF) to address alleged injustice and double standards in Malaysia’s legal system.

The event brought together media representatives, civil society groups, and concerned citizens, questioning why certain preachers continue to incite religious hatred without facing legal consequences.

Despite clear evidence and multiple complaints, authorities have remained silent, raising concerns about selective enforcement. The press conference highlighted key issues, including the alleged protection of individuals responsible for inciting disharmony and the unequal treatment of non-Muslims under the law.

GHRF, together with various organizations, participated called for transparency, accountability, and equal justice for all communities. They emphasized the need for fair legal action to uphold religious harmony in Malaysia. The fight against double standards in Malaysia’s legal system, they stated, must continue.
