Primary Accused Sanjay Roy’s Confession on Doctor’s Rape and Murder in Kolkata

26TH AUGUST : On Sunday, Sanjay Roy, the primary suspect in the doctor rape and murder case in Kolkata, is probably going to take a polygraph exam.

The accused recanted his claimed confession of the graphic murder in front of the lie-detector test, saying he was being set up and was innocent.

Two days ago, Sanjay Roy was determined to be a pervert and a severe pornography addict based on his psychoanalytic profile. A doctor claimed to have what he called an animal-like instinct, according to a CBI officer, as stated in Hindustan Times.

Today, According to a source citing jail officials with knowledge of the case, Sanjay Roy told the jail’s guards that he was unaware of the rape and murder. ( Source Hindustan Times )

As per Hindustan Times, he stated the same things in front of the Sealdah Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate (ACJM) court on Friday. Declaring his innocence, he told the judge that he gave his permission to be tested.
